Agreement

These Terms govern your use of RagChat (the "Service"), a free, embeddable AI chat widget offered by RagChat. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Use of the Service

• You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.
• You are responsible for the content you upload and the questions you ask of the assistant.
• You must connect your own AI provider API key. You pay that provider directly for the tokens you use.

Ownership

You retain all ownership of your documents, embeddings, and conversations. RagChat claims no rights to your content. The RagChat name and logo are trademarks of their respective owners.

Prohibited uses

• Don't upload content you don't have rights to.
• Don't use the Service to generate spam, abuse, or illegal content.
• Don't attempt to bypass our rate limits, quotas, or abuse-protection systems.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We strive for reliability but make no warranties of any kind, express or implied. RagChat is free of charge — you get exactly what we build, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RagChat is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continuing to use the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
